What You’ll Do:
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll play a vital role in PRFC’s mission to reduce hunger and support food access in rural Maine. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safely delivering food to agency partners and home delivery clients within Piscataquis and Penobscot.
- Maintaining a positive, professional attitude with all clients and partners
- Keeping the delivery vehicles (delivery van and 26ft. box truck) clean and well-maintained
- Supporting warehouse operations when needed
What We’re Looking For:
- A desire to help others and make a difference
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
- At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift 50–75 lbs. safely, drive for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable interacting with the public and working independently
No CDL required, experience driving a truck is a plus.
Job Details:
- Type: Part-time (8–12 hours per week)
- Pay: $17–$19 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Tuesdays 7:30am-2pm and occasional extra weekdays
