Description
The Dover Foxcroft Kiwanis is teaming up with the Piscataquis Regional YMCA to support Bike Safety in our community with the annual Bike Rodeo. Members of Kiwanis will be handing out FREE bicycle helmets, inspecting bikes for safety, and providing an educational skills test. The event will include an educational session about bike safety on the road. The YMCA staff will lead a group bike ride around town at 11:00 concluding at the Y where each participant will receive a bag lunch to enjoy at Kiwanis Park. While this event is FREE, we ask that you call the YMCA to register in advance to save your spot and help us manage the group size with social distancing. Each child that attends the bike rodeo will have the chance to enter a drawing to win a new bike.
