Join in on this weekend workshop facilitated by Lesley Fernow: “The Work That Reconnects: Understanding our Past, Evolving our Strengths, and Developing Resolve in a Difficult World." Based on the work of climate activist and teacher Joanna Macy, the workshop is grounded in what it is about being alive that brings us joy, as well as what current realities about our changing world are giving us pain, fear, grief, anger, and sorrow. Using interactive practices such as sharing in pairs, small groups, and rituals. The group will explore our relationship to Earth and the reality of our connections to all our natural ancestors, each other, and to future beings. We will explore the concepts of the Industrial Growth Economy, The Great Unraveling, The Great Turning, Deep Time, and what a Life-Sustaining Society would look like. In the end, each person will develop an intention for action to serve evolution toward a more life-sustaining society.
Interested people of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Registration is encouraged.
