Description
Piscataquis County is beautiful, full of lakes, rivers, forests, wildlife, and some of the hardest-working, most caring people you’ll ever meet.
But while our county spans a vast and stunning landscape, our small population means we often don’t have access to the same resources as larger communities.
That’s why it’s time to make some noise and show the world how to Chuck a Duck for Piscataquis County!
Join us on Friday, July 31st, 2026 at 6:00pm as hundreds of racing ducks are chucked onto the ice at the Piscataquis Ice Arena during a break in the Foxcroft Academy Alumni game.
This fun and quirky event raises critical funds to fight hunger in our region.
Adopt a duck in advance for a chance to win one of three cash prizes! Order a t-shirt or yard sign to show your pride and support for this incredible county and the people who call it home.
