DESCRIPTION:A new play by Bobby Keniston commissioned by the Center Theatre to celebrate Maine's Bicentennial and the 80th anniversary of the construction of the Center Theatre.  Born in a Small Town follows three generations of a fictional family in Dover-Foxcroft through real-life struggles and victories over the past 80 years. The play was made possible with the support of the Maine Bicentennial Commission\, the Maine Arts Commission\, the Maine Community Foundation as well as Northern Lights Mayo Hospital\, Dave's World\, and Moosehead Cottage Resort.
